Couples Therapy
Adjusting to a new baby or to perinatal loss can create significant stress on romantic relationships for many reasons. One or both partners are often getting less sleep than usual which can lead to increased irritability, decreased energy, and decreased intimacy. Grief can present differently for each partner resulting in distance and even resentment. Couples therapy can be helpful to foster and strengthen your connection with your partner, and to ultimately aid you in successfully navigating parenthood together.
